The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Technology Board is a public sector autonomous organization established under an Act of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly in May 2011 for the promotion of Information Technology, Information Technology enabled services and Information Technology enabled education for private sector of the province of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.


Job Description:

1.Job Title:  Project Manager(01-position)

Grade:          BPS-19

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Play a key role in the overall development, strategic planning, service delivery, and management of the Program across multiple key stakeholders.
  • Develop, ensure implementation, and enforce the use of systems that facilitate smooth work flow, equitable and efficient work allocation, quality control, monitoring and evaluation, and communication within and among programs.
  • Mentor Project Implementation Unit on how to proactively engage in planning to improve program management.
  • Deploy resources efficiently and effectively toward Program goals, working with staff to balance workload and effort, and provide regular feedback so that key staff can continuously improve their supervision and mentoring skills.

Job Requirements:

Education: Degree in Project Management, Computer Science or Information Technology or Software Engineering or Telecommunication Engineering or Electrical Engineering (Communication) or any other relevant field (at least sixteen years of education) from a recognized University.

Work Experience: At least seven (07) years, progressively relevant post-qualification experience in a public or private sector organization. Preference would be given to individuals with prior work experience on a donor funded project.

Certificates or Licenses:  Project Management Professional or Prince 2

Demonstrated Skills and Competencies:

  • A good knowledge of recognized project management frameworks, for instance AGILE or Prince 2 or PMP
  • A passion for learning and keeping up to date with the latest trends in Digital technologies

2.Job Title: Procurement Manager (01-position)

6. Job Title:    Finance & Accounts Officer (01- position)

Work Experience: At least 03 years of relevant post qualification experience in a public or private sector organization. Preference would be given to candidates with prior experience on a donor funded project.
